POLYPANEL HACCP complies to the criteria, as this concerns materials needing to comply to the dispositions of the effective HACCP standards, especially for the contacts with the food products: easy to clean and, if necessary, to disinfect, smooth, non absorbant and non toxic.

What says the standard?

Walls and ceilings

• Walls, ceilings, doors and windows will be made of or covered with a hard, easily washable, fat-resistant and waterproof material (recommended minimum height: 2 metres).
  For ex: "sandwich" panels
• Avoid build-up of water from condensation on walls and ceilings.
• Over-heating or over-humidity will be removed effectively.
• If blowers are used for this purpose, they should be easily disassembled and regularly cleaned.
• The air supply cannot be a source of microbial or other contamination for food.
• The objective of these measures is the optimal removal of the condensation of cooling gas and of the build-up of mould on the walls and on the ceilings.
